Technology has professional organized many things but one thing that is evident is that it has eliminated they geographical barriers because now people can interact across the world anytime and this is something new because it does not before.In 2019, it was estimated that over 2 million people interact on social media around the world. Currently, the world has 7.6 billion people and what this means is that in the future, 25% will be using social media platforms. There is generation Z constituting of people between 3-22 years that are born between 1996- 2015 who are the newest wave of social media users now. This generation Z is a technology generation because you were born in this era and because of that attachment another computer very well and 51% of them find it difficult to live social media. This generation uses social media as a source of entertainment and not many other reasons and that is why the time they spend on social media is very short. 18-22 years old are more likely to interact with Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter with Snapchat being used mostly with 71% using it more daily but YouTube is more famous with 94% accessing it because of video content.
The group between 1977-1995 is a Millennials who are social media diverse because they were halfway born into the technology that is the computers. Generation Z uses for social media platforms, but this generation uses the social media platforms of which they use them to voice their opinions. This generation is focused on developing their careers and that is where they are more to once the LinkedIn because it is a great platform.
Generation X (1965- 1976) is a much different but still large portion of them uses and they will use 1/8 social media platforms. Baby boomers is the last generation, 1946 to 1964 making the smallest group to social media platforms and because the love content ensuring the unlikely to find themselves on Facebook as the air their opinions especially on family and friends.
