Increasing sales through Customer Persuasion.
Businesses need to make sales to grow and beat the competition out there. Sales are literally the lifeline of your business, without them your business is on a path to perish. As the business owner the fore you need to think of ways that will see potential customers turning into actual customers, how they will buy your products and services. Many salesmen will agree that the art of persuasion is not that simple. There are some proven ways that you can try to incorporate in your persuasion strategies that will see your sales go up. Before anything else, establish common ground with the customer and from there chances of making a sale goes up significantly. It’s not to mean that you will connect with every potential customer but if you are able to connect with most of them then you are probably going to make more sales.
Begin by engaging the customer in a conversation as there is no other way to get to know if you have common grounds or not. There could be a lot of conversation pieces around the customer which you can use to start a conversation. If you get the potential customer to engage with you move quick to showing them that you share interests with them as it will be easier to bring in the product then. Let the customer see the expert that you are when dealing with them, you do this by writing articles if you have to, portraying your mastery of the products or service through demonstration videos.
As a sales person you have a unique selling position which you can use to your advantage. Unique selling positions can be anything such as pricing, getting creative with it will see you outdo your competition. You do not have control over everything that is happening to your business especially the factors that can’t be determined so it’s possible to make errors that sometimes could cost your business
You should not take a beating from your errors, you are better off learning from them so you make better informed decisions in the future. Go an extra mile and learn about your competition, you will be looking at area that they do well and areas that they do poorly. Invest your effort to be good at where they do poorly and in their strong points do better. Time limits can also be key in persuading people to buy your products, offering discounted rates for some time will push people to buy from you as fast as they can to avoid missing out.
