How to Hire the Best HVAC Installation Experts

Pre-installation, installation and post installation is the three step process which ensures the installation of HVAC. Controlling the temperature of air along with controlling of moisture, filtration of air among others is the main objective of HVAC. HVAC is the complete system of heating, ventilation and air conditioning. A compressor, fan, evaporator coil and condenser is contained in an air conditioner for it to work. Absorption of heat from the air is transferred to the refrigerant which is then pumped to the outdoor segment. The HVAC system contains vents, thermostat, furnace, heat exchanger, evaporator coil, refrigerant coils, ductwork and condensing unit as the main components.

When the thermostat is set to lower temperatures then the evaporator coil is used to cool air. It has an opposite role to the heat exchanger. Cool air is provided by an evaporator coil which is located to the mental enclosure on the furnace’s exterior, to the top or side and has a similar working to an automobile radiator. Not only does cool air circulate in ductworks from the evaporator coil but also it transports warmed or cooled air within the home.

Lightweight aluminum is the common material used in making ducts but also use of fiber glass, fabric, steel and flexible plastic is applied. Not only is the thermostat a visible feature of the HVAC system but also its set on a prominent easily accessible wall. Programming of the thermostat is done either in advance or manually in order to keep the temperature of the home at a desirable rate.

The working of the thermostat is mostly to trigger the evaporator coil to release cool air or the heat exchanger to release warm air to the home. A substantial amount of space is required by the furnace since it’s the largest component of the HVAC system. Heating a supply of air is the main purpose of the furnace which is then distributed to the various rooms of the home. The process of heating is accomplished using the following sources of heat that is combustion, solar energy, electric resistance and heat pump.

Burning of natural gas, propane, oil or coal is the what is involved in the process of combustion. Warmer temperatures are produced by the heat exchanger by switching on the furnace when its activated by the thermostat. The heat exchanger therefore draws in cool air, heats the air and circulates the resulted heated air through the ductworks and vents.

A component of the HVAC system that is connected to the evaporator coil and is installed to outside the home is the condensing unit. The condensing unit is filled with a refrigerant gas in which it is cooled to a liquid by the heat exchanger then pumped to the evaporator coil to be evaporated to the gas once more.
